Jagannath Das: Leaving Corporate Success to Build FUME and Transform Health from the Root Cause

For 17 years, I was living a perfect life, but underneath I was in an unhealthy mental and physical state. I graduated from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and worked for 20 years in corporate Bangalore, rising through the ranks to become a senior manager leading an automotive engineering team.
I had a stable pay and the path forward was clear, but filled with discontentment.
On top of that, during that 17-year period, I was experiencing a steady degradation in my health.
When I was 39 years old, my weight was 82 kg, which was way out of the ideal range. I had constant joint and back pain. I went for my annual physical in 2019 at Manipal Hospital and was astounded to see I was diagnosed with fatty liver, high cholesterol, elevated uric acid (gout), and pre-diabetes (stage 1).
During the same time, my wife suffered from spondylitis and hypothyroidism.
Rather than looking for a shortcut to solve our health issues, we were committed to solving them by getting to the root cause within our bodies.
My pre-diabetes, high cholesterol and fatty liver have been resolved through lifestyle changes, and I have gone from 82 kg to 67 kg. My wife also lost 19 kg, no longer takes medication for her hypothyroidism, and has not had a recurrence of symptoms.
The positive results made a big impact on our lives.
Through this experience we learned something about health - It does not equal wealth rather health is worth more than wealth.
My desire and personal mission to assist others has become a career that I am passionate about. In 2020/2021, we created FUME to assist people in healing metabolic and hormonal imbalances from their root-cause.
Leaving my successful corporate career was one of the hardest decisions I ever made. But now I understand how necessary it was to move away from a well-paying, stable position to pursue my desire and assist others while building FUME full time.
In 2024, there was a change in market conditions.
Sales stagnated due to lost trust, while the need for revenue continued to rise. I almost went back to being employed, but I asked myself , "What will happen to the 25 people who work for my company?"
That question stopped me from quitting.
The result of that change was growth by 300% between 2024 and today. Over 10 thousand people have regained their ability to live a healthy lifestyle.
If you ever find yourself in a similar situation, do not give up, keep fighting for what is essential to you; never lose faith!
